Ice-Tickles and Tails

"Mom, look outside, the house has an ice-tickle!"
"What are you saying?"
"Mom, mom, look, an ice-tickle!"
"I still don't know what you are talking about."
"Mom. Come on. Go outside."
"Ah, an ice-tickle. Gotcha."

"Mom, that one is HUGE. It sorta looks like a tail."
Just the tree by the canal bank. And the snow. And the ice that the city so kindly left for us to drive on. Only two blocks of ice on our street. Right in front of our house.

Funny--my kids were eating the icicles yesterday! Looks like a perma-frost there in Emmett!--don't you love the way the cities leave neighborhoods to fend for themselves?!

I'll have to remember "ice-tickles"--that's too cute!
